VERNON, BC – May 25, 2018 – True Leaf Medicine International Ltd. (“True Leaf”) (CSE: MJ) (FSE: TLA) (OTCQB: TRLFF), a plant-focused wellness brand for people and their pets, has provided a donation of True Hemp™ pet products to the Miracle Bucket Society for its annual Power of the Purse live auction fundraiser benefitting North Okanagan families in need. The donation is the second initiative of True Leaf’s Return the Love™ charitable giving program.
The Miracle Bucket Society provides a hand up for families experiencing socio-economic or health challenges. The Society provides direct financial support to North Okanagan families referred to the organization through the Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation, the Canadian Mental Health Association Vernon and District Branch, and the Vernon Women’s Transition House. To date, the Society has given more than $130,000 to local families in need.
To support the Miracle Bucket Society’s annual fundraiser and return the love to the North Okanagan community, True Leaf has provided an assortment of its all-natural, hemp-seed based pet supplements for the Power of the Purse live auction.

True Leaf launched its Return the Love™ program in February 2018 when it presented inaugural donations to the renowned St. John Ambulance, Canada’s leading first aid training and community service organization, and the BC Pets and Friends therapy dog programs.
The donations supported the addition of volunteer therapy dog and handler teams to serve and benefit the well-being of seniors in care throughout the province.
