True Leaf CEO to Speak on Medicinal Cannabis for Pets at the 2018 Toronto Lift Expo

VERNON, BCMay 23, 2018 – True Leaf Medicine International Ltd. (“True Leaf”) (CSE: MJ) (FSE: TLA) (OTCQB: TRLFF), a plant-focused wellness brand for people and their pets, announced today that its Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Darcy Bomford, will be participating in a panel discussion on medicinal cannabis treatments for pets at the 2018 Lift Expo from May 25-27, 2018, at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in Toronto, Canada.

Mr. Bomford, a pet industry veteran, will participate on the panel: Cannabis and Pets: New Medical Cannabis Treatments in Veterinary Medicine. The panel will be held on Sunday, May 27, 2018, from 1:00-1:30pm ET on the main stage at the Lift Expo – Canada’s largest cannabis tradeshow for patients, consumers, industry professionals, investors and media.

Mr. Bomford will share his experience producing functional pet treats for dogs and cats using hemp seed as a key ingredient. He will be joined by Dr. Sarah Silcox, President & Director, Canadian Association of Veterinary Cannabinoid Medicine.
