As True Leaf awaits the approval of its license application through the Marihuana for Medical Purposes Regulations (
MMPR) program, the company is looking to enter the $53 billion pet industry with a line of products focused on hemp nutrition. True Leaf will market through direct, pet, natural health and veterinary channels, followed by the development of a veterinary approved cannabis-based pet medication.About Global Pet Expo

True Leaf also travelled to the Natural Food Expo
in Anaheim CA. Marketing Director Sharmila Singh attended the show, which wrapped up March 8, to gather information on the market as to well as meet potential partners and affiliates in the natural product space.
“We are excited to see and meet with different vendors covering every part of the natural health space; this is a growing market and aligns directly with our Quality of Life vision.” – Sharmila Singh, True Leaf
“At True Leaf we are dedicated to improving wellness and quality of life. There are many factors that influence quality of life, such as health, lifestyle, family and pets. Research shows that pets improve our quality of life, because owners take less medication and have lower cholesterol and blood pressure. Given our management team’s skills and background, we found a perfect fit to explore the Pet Health industry. There is a gap in the market for products that can offer pets a better quality of life as they mature.” Darcy Bomford, True LeafAbout the Natural Products Expo
